Web Developer

We are looking for a Web Developer to join our growing team; you will be required to work with large organisations to help bring their communications strategies to life through developing web intranet and extranet designs.

We develop internal brands and deliver ongoing communications that have a measurable impact on people-performance.

Job role:

The post holder will be required to design, maintain and develop all internet and intranet sites and services, manage the operation of the intranet server, manage the maintenance and development of the website, create presentation graphics and templates for online publications, develop and maintain the Content Management System (CMS), produce web pages and modify code such as HTML, JavaScript and XML, ensure the security of the internet and intranet sites, support the web pages and develop applications and software to manage the web services.

You will be a self-starter with significant experience in developing web-based systems using Microsoft Sharepoint (preferably 2007).

Your technical expertise and experience will enable you to design and implement well designed, robust web-based applications

Experience and Knowledge:

* You will have knowledge of System Development Lifecycles and development methodologies

* Technical knowledge of programming languages - Visual Basic, C# and Web technologies; Microsoft Sharepoint 2003/2007, ASP, HTML, XML

* Several years experience of web design and programming

* Experience of discussing and agreeing requirements with clients

* Experience of producing and following written specifications

* Possess excellent analytical and communication skills
